Adela Urbina-Torres, 57, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away May 11, 2025, in the emergency room at Penn State Health-St. Joseph.
Born in the Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Pablo Torres and Margarita Quinones. She was the loving wife of Alejandro Urbina with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.
Adela attended Life Church, Reading, and her greatest passion was taking care of children. She started working at Second Street Learning Center and for the last 20 years she operated her own business – Urbina’s Group Day Care in Reading last working on Friday.
In addition to her husband Alejandro, she is survived by her children – Eliseo M. Vittini-Torres, Luz S. Urbina-Torres, Alexandra P. Urbina-Torres, all of Reading, her siblings – Maria Aponte, Shoemakersville, Rosa Torres, Lancaster, Fernando Torres, Harrisburg, and Teofilo Aponte, Boston, MA.
