Alberta K. (Schwarz) Eberhart

        Alberta K. Eberhart, 92, of Reading, passed away October 8, 2023 at 11:10 AM at Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation where she was a guest since 2018.

        Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Albert H. Schwarz, Sr. and Miriam M. (Kofroth) Schwarz Kline.

        She was married to the late Charles D. Eberhart, Sr. most of her life, and was a homemaker and telemarketer. Alberta loved music and singing. She referred to herself as “DJ Dolly” which she did later in life as a part time job. Ahe also liked to cook and made the best apple pie. She loved spending time with her family.

        She is survived by her children: Vivian D. Eberhart Baum, Reading (granddaughter – Christine Baum, great granddaughter – Samara), Lori A. Eberhart, NC, (granddaughters – Kora Brightbill and Nicole Brightbill, great grandchildren – Jaedyn and Braydon Brightbill), Other grandchildren: Melissa Eberhart Spiers – (great grandkids – Kayla and Josh), Michael G. Kerper (great grandsons – Braydon and Zachary), Linda Richards, Reading, (granddaughters – Elizabeth, Deborah and Jennifer), Georgette A. Sweisfort Riggleman, WV. She also has a sister – Theresa Sheidy, Wernersville. She is predeceased by: daughters - Deborah Pezzotti and Peggy M. Kerper, Sons – Charles D. Eberhart, Jr., John D. Eberhart, and Clint D. Eberhart.

        Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 12 Noon. The Rev. Colleen Cox will officiate.
