Arletta J. (Mohn) Sweigart

        Arletta J. Sweigart, 90, of Spring Twp., formerly of Shillington passed away July 30, 2024 at Columbia Cottage where she was a guest since October 2022.

        Born in Gouglersville, she was a daughter of the late Curtis S. Mohn and Ethel M. (Huyett) Kocher. She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Sweigart who passed away November 27, 2002. They celebrated 51 years of marriage prior to his passing.

        She was a former member of Immanuel UCC. Arletta loved country music, especially Willie Nelson and Garth Brooks. She was the “Original” Elvis Presly fan.

        She is survived by her children – Ernest M. husband of Donna Sweigart, Mt. Joy, Gayle A. Hirneisen, Reamstown, Anita M. wife of Alfred Coringrato, Birdsboro, Curtis P. husband of Laura Sweigart, Smithfield, VA, her sister – Carol Swavely, Exeter Twp., her grandchildren – Justin Zachary husband of Kerie Sweigart, Stephanie Lena Laura wife of Paul Flemming, Wesley Elliot husband of Faith Sweigart, Sara Hirneisen wife of Seth Hodgson, Natalie Hirneisen, James Coringrato, Jacqui Sweigart, Christopher husband of Tiffany Sweigart and her great grandchildren – Kellan, Kinley, Kia, Addison, Ava, Aubrey, Stella, Jude, August, Ahmory and Evaline. She was predeceased by her sister Bernice Mohn.

        Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 in Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring.
