Barbara Ann (Kokoski) Kaunert

Barbara Ann Kaunert, 83, formerly of Cumru Township, passed away Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at Reading Hospital – Tower Health.

She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Kaunert.

Born in Ambridge, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Augustine) Kokoski.

Barbara was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at Skateaway Inc. Her main job in life was being a great wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband Robert, Barbara is survived by three children: Robert J., husband of Amy Kaunert, Harleysville, PA; Amy, wife of Eric Brzostek, Leesport; and Christopher, husband of Erica Kaunert, Sinking Spring, PA. Eight grandchildren: Hailey, Madeline, Olivia, Andrew, Anna, Elle, Elizabeth, and Jack also survive her.

A visitation from  Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M, on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
