Barry L. R. King, 55, of Shoemakersville, passed away peacefully, on October 25, 2023, at his residence.

        He was born on November 15, 1967; a son of Barry L. Staudt and the late Linda Souders King of Reading.

        He is survived by his two daughters; Katelyn King and Bobbie King and two grandsons: Chance Kachel and Jayson Hultz.

        Barry was known for his love on the Philadelphia Flyers. One of his favorite things to do was spend time with his two grandsons. They were boys who loved to rough house or play football with their pop-pop. On a Saturday night you would catch him either watching dirt modified cars at Grandview Speedway or at Berks Lanes bowling with his grandsons or his friends.
