Brian D. Liszcz, 69, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, following a lengthy illness.  Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Dorothy M. (Hullinger) Liszcz.

        A graduate of Twin Valley High School, Brian worked for many years in the Shipping and Receiving Department at Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, and later as a Route Manager for the Reading Eagle Company. He also enjoyed working on the family farm, from caring for the property to tending the sheep.

        Brian had a great zest for life and especially enjoyed driving and “showing off” his classic 1964 Corvette Convertible, as well as taking his prized Harley-Davidson on long rides through the Berks County countryside. He was equally at home in the woods hunting and fishing, or spending time at Maple Grove Raceway watching the drag races. No matter where he went, Brian made fast friends and seemed to know “everybody.”

        He was also a faithful member of The Church of St. Benedict, Mohnton.

        Brian is survived by his sister, Jeri (Liszcz) Misler, wife of Scott of Winterport, ME, and brothers Jeff Liszcz, husband of JoAnne (Hartranft) of Mohnton, and Kurt Liszcz, husband of Barbara (Behrle) of Mohnton. 

        A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Brian at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at The Church of St. Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540, with a visitation in the church from 10:00-11:00.  Burial will be private.  Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA is honored to be caring for Brian and his family.  www.kleefuneralhome.com
