Bruce was a former Boy Scout leader for Troop 241 in Knauers, a Board member for Protective Services at BCTC, and a Facilitator of the Berks County Fire Training Center. He was also a member of the Cumru Fire Department, and an active contributor to both the Berks County Chief’s Association and Berks County Firemen’s Association. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Bruce also enjoyed John Deere tractors, NASA, photography and hunting. He was a faithful member of Allegheny Lutheran Church.
