On October 30, 2024, Charles Salvatore Matulonis passed away at the age of 79 at Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Anthony G. Matulonis, Sr. and Angelina G. (Sansone) Matulonis, the father of Anthony C. “Tony” Matulonis, the grandfather of Skye and Summer, the brother of Anthony George Matulonis, Jr., Francis Paul Matulonis, the late Michael Patrick Matulonis, Joseph Felix Matulonis, the late Rose Frock, Alice Ann Ferguson, Donny Matulonis and the late Ronny Matulonis. He is also survived by his cousins Stephanie Lang, Rosemarie Sansone, Bernadette Netreba, Rosalie Steinman and Frank Sansone Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was retired from the U.S. Army and served in the U.S. National Guard. He served his country proudly and displayed that by handing out Military Medallions to those he came in contact with. He was a man of many talents. He was a chef for General Omar Bradley. He was an entertainer doing magic shows for the poor, comedy shows, and he loved doing impressions of the famous. He was also a very talented singer.
A service will be offered by Reverend Donny Matulonis in the Chapel at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Entombment with full U.S. Army military honors will follow at 12 noon.
