Charles Samuel Lauck, 74, of Robeson Township, passed away April 28, 2025, in the emergency room at the Reading Hospital.

        Born in Catawissa, he was a son of the late Charles L. and Mary Ruth (Tyson) Lauck. He was the husband of Phyliss L. (Rentschler) Lauck. They celebrated 56 years of marriage.

        Sam worked in Insurance sales for CNA Insurance and XL Insurance, retiring in 2013. A 1968 graduate of Twin Valley High School, he also graduated from McCann’s School of Business in Reading. Sam was a former member of the Elks and Lions Clubs and was involved as a leader with the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed fishing and cigars.

        He is survived by his daughter – Mary C. Klopp, Pottstown and his grandchildren – Drew L. Lauck, Cassie L. Lauck, Kody C. husband of Faith Klopp, LeAnn S. Javage companion of Michael Chase, Hannah R. Javage and Arek S. Javage. He was predeceased by his son – Charles Lee “Chuck” Lauck.

        A visitation to celebrate Sam’s life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Ave., Shillington.
