Clifford I. Bergman

Clifford I. Bergman, 86, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, passed away August 5, 2024.

Born in Shillington, He was a son of the late Claire G. and Dorothy M. (Frantz) Bergman. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann (Gehman) Bergman who passed away July 31, 2015. They would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on August 4th.

 He was a 1955 graduate of the former Shillington High School and attended both East Stroudsburg and Kutztown State Colleges. A member of Immanuel UCC and the Berks County Chamber of Commerce, he was an avid golfer and hunter. Cliff traveled the world with his hunting, with a special trip to Africa with his grandson, Philip.

Cliff started his career in data processing at Luden’s and retired as Vice President of Human Relations at Hershey Corp. After retirement, he worked in HR at Security Guards, Inc., and did trip booking for Jim McCarthy Adventures.

         He is survived by his daughters – Elizabeth A. wife of Natale Messina, Scottsdale, AZ, Kathy A. wife of Mark Morrison, Sarasota, FL, Kristin A. Bergman partner of Robert Williams, Sinking Spring, his grandchildren – Philip husband of Ashley Sage, Ryan husband of Taylor Morrison, Megan wife of Christopher Jones, his great grandchildren – Ariana, Chloe and Shaylee Sage, Ellie and Zoey Jones and his brother – Dale husband of Gail (Dietz) Bergman and son Alex, St. Pete Beach, FL.
