Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother…
Darlene S. (Teter) Steinmetz, 77, left us to be at peace on the evening of Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
She was a widower to her husband, William M. Steinmetz of 49 years.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of her predeceased parents, Gordon Teter and Sadie (Raezer) Teter, and a sister to her predeceased brother, William Teter.
She was a member of Lincoln Park Community United Methodist and enjoyed crocheting, coloring, shopping and going out to eat. Although Darlene spent most of her life as a homemaker while also working in retail, her greatest accomplishment was raising 3 children who bountifully blessed her with grandchildren she very much loved and cherished.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Eyrich, significant other to Mike Bowers Exeter, Tracy Tobin, wife of William Tobin, Mohnton, and Samantha Kemery, wife of Todd Kemery, Flying Hills. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Carson, Tyrone, Kaityln, Emily, Lily, and Ian: followed by 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ella.
Viewing from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A celebration of her life, officiated by Pastor Quentin Wallace, will begin at 7:30 PM. www.kleefuneralhome.com
