David S. Amour

David S. Amour, 75, of Womelsdorf, passed away March 29, 2018 in Penn State Health - St. Joseph. He was the loving husband to Jean L. (Wagner) Amour. Born in Lansdale, PA, he was a son of the late Elmer E. Amour, Sr. and Esther (Moser) Amour. David worked as a pretzel baker for Tom Sturgis Pretzels for 28 years, retiring in 2005. He also had worked in carpentry, painting fire trucks and selling automobiles. He was a \"Tech guy\" at his church, New Covenant Church of God, Ephrata, recording services, video and sound. He enjoyed bowling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children - Sandra M. wife of Paul Weitzel, Cumru Twp., Mark A. husband of Kerri Amour, Virginia Beach, VA, Cynthia A. Amour, Mohnton, his brother - Elmer E. Amour, Jr. and his wife Rayetta, Stowe, Ohio, his grandchildren - Natalie, Paul, Jr., Rachel, Noah, Abi-gail, his great grandchildren - Hunter and one on the way. He is also survived by his former wife - Mary Jane (Stricker) Amour. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Moyer. Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 5:00 PM in New Covenant Church of God, 111 E. Chestnut St., Ephrata, PA 17522. Pastor Leonard Stine will officiate. Private interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
