Dennis J. Kreshock, 63, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Wellspan York Hospital. Born in Valparaiso, IN, he was the son of the late Stephen and Annette (Taylor) Kreshock. Dennis was married to the love of his life, Dorothy (Miller) Kreshock, and they would have celebrated 40 years of marriage this October.
After graduating from the Valley Forge Military Academy in 1980, Dennis served his nation proudly in the US Air Force, where he was a Missile Maintenance Specialist. After his military service, Dennis worked in various capacities with numerous hotels, including many years at Dutch Colony Inn. He was also a faithful member of the Shore Leave Convention and enjoyed travelling to their annual Convention.
Dennis had an incredible sense of humor and simply lit up the lives of all around him, especially his kids and grandkids. He and Dorothy loved to travel, especially to the Atlantic City Casinos and on one very memorable trip to the Dominican Republic. Weekly game nights were filled with laughter, playing cards and other family games.
Dennis was an extremely selfless gentleman, the kind that always put others first, eagerly giving the shirt off his back to help those in need. And he just loved to make others smile and laugh. He particularly enjoyed his latest venture, working for the Pennsylvania DMV as a photo tech, easily making new friends and getting them to smile for the camera.
More than anything, Dennis loved his family, especially his two grandchildren Jayden and Benjamin. Along with his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by their children: daughter Elizabeth Kreshock, Reading, and sons Andrew Kreshock, husband of Hien Phung, Newport News, VA, and Joseph Kreshock, Reading, as well as his sisters, Rose Sidebottom and Charlotte Hennesy, both of TN, and stepbrothers Christ Gann, AR, and David Gann, TN. Dennis will also be dearly missed by his faithful companion at home, Chase.
A Celebration of Dennis’s Life well lived, will be held at the convenience of the Kreshock family. Dennis will be buried with full Military Honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington is honored to assist the family with his services. www.kleefuneralhome.com
