Eileen Lenore (Morris) Wiest, 93, of Country Meadows, died November 26, 2018 in the Reading Hospital, where she had been a recent patient. She resided in Wyomissing Hills for 54 years before moving to Country Meadows. She was the wife of the late John Alton Wiest. They were married 69 years. Born in Gage, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Imon and Jesse (Drake) Morris. She was a devoted wife and homemaker and worked as a secretary for American Casualty Insurance and sales person at Vanity Fair. She was an active, long-standing member of Shillington Church of Christ, where she participated in all church services and activities. She was a graduate of Woodward High School in Woodward, Okla. She enjoyed her family and friends, cooking, travel, flowers, golf and her bridge club. She is survived by her two sons - John A. Wiest, Jr., Etters; Douglas A., husband of Deborah Wiest, Denver, Colo.; sister-in-law Jane of Wernersville; three grandchildren - Sally W. wife of Bob Bryan; Jacob F. Wiest; Allison F. wife of Thomas Murray; and two great grandchildren, Kendall & Kaden Bryan. She was predeceased by her sisters, Helen, Imagene, Louise and JoAnne. Minister Rick Janelle will lead a Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Shillington Church of Christ, 475 Philadelphia Avenue, P.O. Box 66, Shillington, PA. 19607. Internment is in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township at 2:30 p.m. Viewing Wednesday 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church.
