Elsie P. (Adam) Koller, 97, of Maidencreek Township, passed away January 29, 2025, at Sinking Spring Nursing & Rehab with her loving family by her side.
Born in Maidencreek Township, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Florence M. (Wesner) Adam. She was the wife of the late Franklin B. Koller, Jr., who passed away June 15, 1995.
Elsie was a member of the former Trinity U.C.C., Leesport and a former member, deacon and elder of St. John’s (Gernant’s) U.C.C., Leesport. She loved to do word search, crocheting, gardening, cooking, speaking PA Dutch, and rooting for the Phillies and Braves. Elsie was the matriarch of the family and will be missed immensely.
She is survived by her children – Barry F. Koller companion of Pauline M. Mengel, Mohrsville, Nadine S. wife of George H. Manwiller, Jr., Annville, Diane M. wife of Richard A. Manwiller, Leesport, Lisa A. wife of Michael W. Neppes, Hamburg, her son-in law – Irwin R. Zerbe, Leesport, her 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughters – Jean L. Koller, Dorothy E. Zerbe and her siblings – Paul Adam, Woodrow Adam, Nevin Adam, Katie Koller and Mary Jane Labe.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Fran Merkel will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in St. John’s Gernant’s Cemetery, Leesport.
