Gary "Dee" R. Snyder, Jr.

        Gary R. “Dee” Snyder, Jr., 61, of West Reading, passed away February 4, 2025 in his residence.

        Born in West Reading, he was a son of Kay O. (Frymoyer) Snyder, West Reading, and the late Gary R. Synder, Sr.

        A 1981 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, Dee was a free-spirit who definitely marched to the beat of his own drum. In his youth he was an excellent skate boarder, surfer, BMX biker and also raced Velodrome. He had many friends and admirers. Dee was also a skilled sailor. He spent over a year living on his boat with his wife and his two children as they sailed and explored the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.

        In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children – Tilde Kay Snyder, Rome, Italy, Kidd Cassidy Snyder, Austin, TX. Siblings – Kim Dunlap, Reading and J.B. Snyder, West Reading.

        Graveside services on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Charles Evans Cemetery Hillside Mausoleum, 1119 Centre Ave., Reading. Rev. Elmer B.
