Gayle Marie (Reifsnyder) Walter

        Gayle Marie (Reifsnyder) Walter, 88, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024.

        Born in Philadelphia on July 9, 1936, Gayle was the daughter of the late Franklin Lewis & Edith Marie (Pennypacker) Reifsnyder. They later moved to Reading where Gayle graduated from Reading High School.

        Gayle loved to read, do puzzles, and spend time at the shore. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her family. Her most precious times were when her family were all together with her at the shore.

        Gayle is survived by her three children: her son Glenn R. Walter and his wife Donita, her daughter Laurie (Walter) Thies and her husband Glen, and her son Mark E. Walter and his wife Danielle. She was the beloved grandmother to Jessica Walter, Kyle Walter and his wife Emily, Paige (Walter) Shackelford and her husband Connor, Adam Thies and his wife Kacey, Kelly (Thies) Ceurvels and her husband Daniel, Brad Thies, Emma Walter, and Riley Walter. She was also the great grandmother to Addison Shackelford and Kaden Walter.
