Harriet M. Marshall, 85, of Brecknock Township, passed away January 12, 2024 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon, where she was a guest.

        Born in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Weldon and Harriet Mary (Lovett) Gilbert. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Marshall who passed away July 15, 2022. They celebrated 65 years of marriage prior to his passing.

        A 1956 graduate of S. Horace Scott High School, Coatesville, Harriet enjoyed all of her neighborhood friends, baby sitting children, cooking and baking, especially chicken pot-pie and chocolate chip cookies. She loved spending time with her grand kids, as well as reading, volunteering at the library, gardening, and searching for arrowheads.

        She is survived by her four sons – Richard A. husband of Michelle Marshall, Overland Park, KS, Wade S. husband of Susan Marshall, Blandon, Brian L. husband of Susan Marshall, Sinking Spring, Eric J. husband of Joyce Marshall, Reinholds, her brother – John A. husband of Susan Gilbert, Waldoboro, ME, her 10 grandchildren and her 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings – Albert, Marcus W., David, James Gilbert and Edythe Huyett.

        Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Elmer B. Reinhold, Jr. will officiate.
