Henry I. Hertzog, Jr., 73, of Spring Township, passed away September 13, 2023 at 4:01 PM at M.S. Hershey Medical Center where he was a patient.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry I. Hertzog, Sr., and Helen (Pawlowski) Hertzog. He was the loving husband of Karen A. (Wagner) Hertzog.
Henry was a self-employed carpet installer, last working for his brother at Apax Contracting. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and remodeling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-daughter – Kellie Bellanca, Reading and his sisters – Mildred McGale and Jean Wentzel, both of Reading and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers – Raymond, Robert and Thomas Hertzog and his sister Shriley Addison.
