James C. Shultz

        James C. Shultz, 72, of Reinholds, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem Campus.  He was born in Lancaster, PA, on March 3, 1954, to the late George and Mary Jane (Huber) Shultz, Jr.

        Jim was a 1972 graduate of Lebanon High School, Lebanon, PA, and attended Drexel University.  He earned his Civil Engineering license while working in the engineering field.  He also became a licensed Forensic Engineer and Engineering Consultant.

        In younger years, Jim enjoyed skiing and snowboarding.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and appreciated the outdoors, all nature and the universe.  Jim was also a voracious reader.

        Surviving are his brothers Kenneth D. Shultz (Dawn) of Lebanon, PA, and David M. Shultz (Brenda) of Lebanon, PA, and his sister Barbara J. Eberly (Robert) of Sinking Spring, PA.  He is also survived by nephews  Tyler E. Shultz (Karen), Philip J. Eberly (Erin), nieces Andriana Shultz Daly, Megan L. (Eberly) Bingham (Michael), grand-nephew and nieces  Ezra, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Hannah, Vivienne, Callie, Aubrey and Kelsey, and cousins Kim, Karen and Scott.

        Graveside service and interment will be held in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Lancaster, PA, at the convenience of the family.  Contributions in Jim’s memory can be made to Forgotten Felines and Fidos, Inc., 6022 Mountain Road, Germansville, PA  18053, or to Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 West 13th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA  18229.
