Janet L. (Holland) Garrison

        Janet L. Garrison, 78, of Spring Township, passed away August 29, 2024 in her residence.

        Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Delcia (Comer) Holland. She was the loving wife of Glenn E. Garrison who passed away November 12, 2022. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary prior to his passing.

        Janet worked for RACC, serving in a variety of positions for almost 30 years before retiring in 2016. A 1966 graduate of Reading High School, she was a member of the former St. John’s UCC, Reading. She practiced the healing art of Reiki and loved sharing it with others. She enjoyed playing Kings Corners and spending time with her dearest friend of over 60 years, Ruthie Hill.

        She is survived by her sons: Scott K. Garrison, and partner, Tara Elliot, Sinking Spring; Kevin W. Garrison, and partner Laura Leiby, Portland Oregon; her sister, Joan, wife of Ed Jastrzembski, Mt Juliet, TN; her nieces, Kim Ryan and DeeDee Jastrzembski, and her grandchildren, Maximilian K. Garrison and Emilie S. Garrison.
