Jean D. (Dorn) Hartline, 101, formerly of Shillington, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Phoebe Berks, Wernersville. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Warren R. and Mary L. (Wert) Dorn, and the widow of Clayton H. Hartline, who passed in 2009.
A 1942 graduate of Oley Valley High School, Jean attended McCann’s School of Business, Reading, and worked for many years as a payroll clerk at Grosfillex Manufacturing, Robesonia. She was President of the Women’s Guild, and Choir member at Immanuel UCC, Shillington. Jean was also eager to give back to her community, volunteering with the Berks County Senior Center, the Visiting Nurses Association, and the Governor Mifflin Library.
Jean is survived by a son, Stephen D. Hartline (Deborah), Portland, ME, a daughter, Margaret A. Fuoco, companion of Gary Prinzi, New Holland, PA, two grandsons, Nicholas Fuoco and Jonathan Hartline, and two great grandchildren, Gia and Max Fuoco. She was predeceased by a sister, Alice Louise Baggot, and a grandson, Matthew Hartline.
A Graveside Committal service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
