Joan A. Werner

Joan A. Werner, 84, of Cumru Twp., passed away September 30, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the Mifflin Center, where she was a guest for the past year. She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Werner, who passed away August 25, 2011. They celebrated 48 years of marriage before his passing. Born in Nazareth, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russell A. and Catherine (Rash) Rinker. She was a merchandiser for Sears, for 25 years. She worked at the Shillington store and later at the Berkshire Mall store, retiring in 1989. She and her late husband loved to travel. Joan enjoyed watching television and reading. Her greatest joy came from her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She is survived by 5 children - Cathy L. Fox, Jacksonville, FL, Nancy J. wife of Ralph Dreibelbis, Sinking Spring, James M. Christman - New Holland, Larry P. husband Inja Christman. Sinking Spring and Randy J. Werner, Cumru Twp. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son - David G. Christman who passed away March 17, 2014. Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
