Jorge Elias Soto Nieves

          Jorge Elias Soto, affectionately known as Georgie, passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on April 9, 1939, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, he spent his later years in Reading, Pennsylvania.

          A passionate automotive restoration expert, Jorge owned several auto-body shops and gas stations throughout Reading and Lancaster. His love for classic vehicles was matched only by his enthusiasm for boxing, a sport he actively pursued during his younger years. His favorite pastime was enjoying Chinese Food followed by a Bruce Lee movie with his daughter.
        Jorge was married to Ana Diaz, and together they nurtured a loving family that includes their children Dana, Mirna, Ivonne, and Ana. He cherished his grandchildren, John and Neena and his great grandchild Janine, who brought him immense joy and pride.
         He is survived by his siblings, Hector, Jose, David, Luis, Martha, Zinia, Lucy,  Iris, and Alicia as well as the memory of his late sister, Laura. Jorge Elias Soto will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his dedication to his craft, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
