Joseph Adam DeHart

Joseph A. DeHart, 92, of Cumru Township, passed away March 12, 2018 at 5:50 AM at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center where he was a guest since March 1st. He was the husband of Jacqueline R. (Schneider) DeHart who passed away July 11, 2009. They shared 51 years of marriage before her passing. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph N. and Sadie O. (Van Buskirk) DeHart. A US Navy veteran of WW II, he worked for the Plumbers Union Local # 690, Philadelphia for over 40 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. John's Lodge # 435 F & AM, liked bird feeding & watching and was an avid Phillies fan. He is survived by his son - Jon J. husband of Kim DeHart, Sinking Spring and his grandson - Dylan J. DeHart. He is predeceased by his siblings - Marguerite, Evelyn, Catherine, Marie and Ralph. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington.
