Joseph Arthur Grim, 77, of Cumru Township, passed away January 9, 2025, in the emergency room at Reading Hospital.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Madeline Velda (Solt) Grim. A loving companion for over 30+ years to Carmen M. Flores-Rios and both a loving father and grandfather to many.
Joseph, a US Army veteran serving between 1973-1976 overseas in Korea, retired from a career as a welder at Dana Corporation. He could always be found with a dog by his side, his most recent, Julio, who will be dearly missing his best friend.
He is survived by his daughters – Suron Calabrese and Gina Morris as well as Carmen’s children – Robert Rivera, Jr., Roderick Rivera and Josephine Rivera Lenartz. Also survived by many grandchildren including Jacob, Zachary, Jessica, Samantha, Cody, Emily, Camryn, Carlos, Cyivan and several more grand and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him as a provider, for his humor, and his immense heart.
