Judith A. (Pfleger) Firus

Judith A. Firus, 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, February 11th, 2024 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

She is the beloved wife of Alfred Firus.

Born in Reading, she is the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret (Krick) Pfleger.

Judith was a 1963 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Evangelical Church, Shillington.

Judith was employed as the office manager at GenPore for over 40 years.

She was a very caring mother and grandmother. She loved her cats and was an excellent care giver to her husband Alfred. Judith enjoyed shopping, traveling, and holidays with her friends and family.

In addition to her husband Alfred, Judith is survived by a daughter, Janelle, wife of Michael Bosold, Wyomissing, and a step-daughter, Kathleen, wife of Michael T. Glass, Mohnton. Other survivors include a grandson, Rowan Bosold, Wyomissing, and a relative Charlene Veach, Sinking Spring.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, February 16th, 2024, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., followed by the service starting at 1 P.M. at Klee Funeral Home, 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA 19607.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judith’s honor to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704
