Kathryn L. (Knittle) Rumpf

Kathryn L. (Knittle) Rumpf, 77, passed away peacefully in her residence at Keystone Villa, Douglassville, on Saturday, October 19, 2024.  She was the loving wife of William (Bill) Rumpf, Jr, West Lawn, who was a blessing for the lifetime of their 25 year marriage. 

Kathy was born in Allentown, PA, to the late Helen (Lyons) and Albert Knittle.  One of five children, she graduated from Kutztown High School and raised her three children in Hamburg before meeting Bill.  Together, they built a life enjoying the outdoors.  They loved to travel, camp, & spending summers at the beach. 

Kathy is survived by her daughter Lisa Steely, Hamburg, son Christopher Schnabel, Mohrsville, & daughter Jodi Rourke, Lenhartsville.  Kathy leaves behind five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

A celebration of life will be held privately by Kathryn’s family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.  Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA., is assisting with arrangements.
