Kevin DePasquale, Jr., 43, of Spring Township, passed away July 24, 2024. He was the husband of Holly Jo (Lengel) DePasquale. They had been together since the age of 15.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Kevin DePasquale, Sr. and Susan A. (Carey) DePasquale.
Kevin was a tri axle truck driver for Delaware Valley Contractors, working 11 years and last working Wednesday, July 24th. He previously worked for his family's business, F.M. Browns as a coal & oil truck driver.
A 1999 graduate of Wilson H.S., Kevin also served on the Kenhorst Borough Council. He loved motorcycles, his animals, camping at Shady Grove in Denver, gardening at home with his wife, and going crayfish hunting and fishing with his daughter. Kevin kept a lucky fishing stone in his tackle box that his daughter gave him as a joke, but it didn’t bring much luck with the fish. Some of Kevin’s fondest memories were with his daughter, including going to D.C. where they rode scooters around town. He retold the story of that trip many times. They also shared a love of rollercoasters. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his honorary nephews, Landon and Beau and had many epic nerf battles with them. He was a “Paw Paw” to his grand dog Josie. Kevin loved tinkering on most any project, was a hard worker but especially loved his family and was extremely proud of his daughter.
In addition to his wife Holly, he is survived by his daughter – Skye H. DePasquale fiancé of Michael V. Fragale, Linwood, his siblings – Keenen A. husband of Yvette Gilyard, Las Cruces, NM, Tiffany M. wife of Aaron Wagner, Pittsburgh, his maternal grandparents – C. Merrill, who lovingly referred to him as his “number one grandson” & Helen C. (Keith) Brown, Shillington, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Additionally, Kevin was the son-in-law of the late LaRue D. (Fisher) Lengel. He is also survived by Holly’s father – Dennis G. Lengel and Penny Milligan (Bonus Mother-in-law), Wernersville.
