Kwame A. Munroe

        Kwame A. Munroe, 53, of Reading, passed away January 7, 2025, in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Medical Center.

        Born September 23, 1971, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of Lorna A. (Thompson) Munroe and the late Anthony C. Munroe.

        He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

        Kwame is survived by his mother Lorna, his siblings – Esan Munroe, Ainka Munroe, Tsehaia Brown and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father Anthony, he was predeceased by his brother Shaka Munroe.

        Prayer service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 12 Noon. The Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. Orsulak will officiate.
