Larry H. Geiser

Larry H. Geiser, 81, of Brecknock Township, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Reading Hospital.  Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Herbert L. and Virginia (Grandy) Geiser.  He was the loving husband of Dorothy E. (Knopp) Geiser, celebrating 60 wonderful years of marriage together. 

Larry was a 1961 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and earned an Engineering degree from Drexel University.  He was an engineer for CarTech before retiring in 1985.  He then owned Insulated Systems for 10 years and was a substitute teacher in Lancaster County for five years. 

Larry was an Eagle Scout and loved playing tennis throughout his life, pinochle and other card games, and volleyball.  He also enjoyed the great outdoors, particularly skiing and riding trail bikes, and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. 

In addition to his wife Dorothy, Larry is survived by their three children:  Todd A. Geiser (Judy), Quakertown, Bradley D. Geiser (Melissa), Orefield, and Tiffany G. Farley (Brendan), Edgewater, MD, along with seven grandchildren:  Gavin Farley, Sister Mary Frances, RSM, Hans Geiser, Johnny Farley, Ava Geiser, Michael Farley and Viggo Geiser.

Also surviving are his siblings:  Barbara Fry, Pottstown, Herbert Geiser (Carol), Topton, Karen Gordon (George), Pottstown, Jeffrey Geiser (Chenxia), Doylestown, Andrea Nicoline (Joseph), Atlanta, GA, and Scott Geiser (Georgeanne), Pottstown.  In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by a granddaughter Rachel Geiser.

A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00AM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA, with Rev. George Osei Ababio, St. Ignatius Loyola Parish presiding.  Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 9:00-10:00AM.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Pottstown.  www.kleefuneralhome.com
