Larry J. Wolfe

Larry J. Wolfe, 73, of Shillington, passed away March 7, 2017 at 8:15 PM in the Mifflin Center where he was a guest since March 1st. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Johns) Wolfe. They celebrated 51 years of marriage. Born in Mohnton, he was a son of the late George C. Florence M. (Bachman) Wolfe. He was a heating air conditioning mechanic for 39 years starting at Berks Products, then D.J. Whitman and finally Petro, retiring in 2006. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shillington, Pennwyn Motor Assn, Gouglersville Fire Co. and Grill Fire Co. Larry was a 1962 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and enjoyed hunting, gardening, looking at wildlife and reading. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter - Patricia A. wife of Anthony Geras, Ruskin, FL, his brothers - Warren L. husband of Bonnie Wolfe, Colorado Springs, CO., William R. Wolfe, Hampton, VA, his sisters - Nancy widow of Kent Kauffman, Phoebe-Berks Village, Doris wife of Homer Kline, Muhlenberg Twp., Brenda S. Wolfe, Mohnton, and his grandchildren - Kelly wife of Alex Kollar, Matthew Geras and Kristen Geras. Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Carl W. Filer and Rev. Linda Kozlowski will officiate. Interment in Fairview Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. Viewing Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
