Leif Albert Wade

      Leif A. Wade, 81, formerly of Fresno, CA., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Penn State Health-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Reading, PA., surrounded by his loving family. Leif was a devoted Christian and is now in God’s loving hands.

      Born in Boca Raton, FL., he was the son of the late Herbert B. Wade and Vesta M. (Gallagher) Wade, and the beloved husband of Noreen L. (Nash) Wade, with whom he shared a loving and devoted marriage of 59 years.

      Leif treasured his family. In addition to his wife, Noreen, he is survived by his son Beaumont L. Wade, and wife, Jennifer, of Prescott, AZ.; his daughter Macy L. (Wade) Santee and husband, Tracy, of Wernersville, PA.; and his sister, Leahde A. Wilt and husband, Carl, of Sparks, NV. In addition to his parents, Leif was preceded in death by his younger brother, Dee A. Wade.

     His life revolved around his children and grandchildren, whose accomplishments and happiness brought him immense pride and joy. Leif also leaves behind four grandchildren and their spouses: Evan Wade, Austin Wade, Morgan (Santee) Brill and Logan Santee. He also leaves behind a niece and three nephews and their families.

     As graduate of Sparks High School, Leif went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Nevada-Reno. After retirement, he also pursued higher education at Pacific University in Fresno, CA.

     Leif enjoyed a long and distinguished career with State Farm Insurance Company. He was known for his professionalism, integrity and commitment to others, and retired as an Agency Director.

     His hobbies were golf, reading, cars and racing, singing and playing guitar, and camping adventures at “Fol-de-grace.”  Leif was a member of the Masonic Lodge and also a volunteer and supporter of “La Comida Guild” of Valley Children’s Hospital in Central California.

      A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the Wade family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Leif’s memory to either Hillside Christian Church, 3322 E.
