Leo J. Sobolewski, III, 42, of South Heidelberg Township passed away July 24, 2017 at 9:08 PM in his residence. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ann (Weitzel) Sobolewski. They were married Sept. 13, 2011. Born in Lebanon, he was a son of Kathy L. (Brossman) Sobolewski of Grill and the late Leo J. Sobolewski, Jr. Leo was a general manager and DJ for Al's Diamond Cabaret, Reading for 10 years and a night shift manager for Giant Food Store, Shillington for 21 years. He was a 1992 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School where he participated in Marching, Jazz and Concert bands. He served as the drumline captain in high school and later played drums with the bands - Propoganda, Fatal Aggression, 416 South and Distraught. Leo loved to cook, landscaping, watching the History Sci-Fi channels, his pets and politics. He could be very opinionated and passionate about his views. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sister - Nicole M. Sobolewski-Endy wife of Christopher M. Endy of Sinking Spring, his paternal grandmother - Helen D. (Orleski) Sobolewski of Newmanstown aunts and uncles - Paul Sobolewski husband of Kathy (Maulfair) Sobolewski, Joseph Sobolewski, JoAnn Kahl wife of Gerald Kahl, Dale Brossman husband of Jeannette (Stichter) Brossman and Scott Brossman, mother-in-law - Catherine L. Robertson and his nieces and nephew - Felicia N. Trievel, Britny L. Montonya, Hannah M. Gordon and Wyatt C. Gordon. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
