Loretta J. Coldren, 95, formerly of Hancock Blvd., Kenhorst, passed away March 4, 2018 at 2:20 PM in the Mifflin Center where she resided since June of 2017. She was the wife of the late Lester A. Coldren who passed away February 25, 2009. Born in Arnot, Tioga County, PA she was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Stempeck) Creek. She worked in the Berkshire Knitting Mill and as a secretary for Met-Ed until her sons were born. Loretta was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shillington, and was active with their ladies group. A 1940 graduate of Shillington High School, she was a former den mother with Cub Pack #142, Kenhorst. She enjoyed sewing & making clothes, yard work, flowers, bowling, cooking and was a true dog lover. Loretta helped her late husband build their home. She is survived by her sons - Edward A. husband of Kathryn A. Coldren, Mt. Joy; Dennis E. Coldren, Shillington; three grandchildren - Jennifer, Mark, and Alex; and two great grandchildren - Emerson and Wilder. She was predeceased by her siblings - Edward Creek, Eleanor Shirk and Victoria Schultz. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:30 AM in Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Rev. Thomas Reinsel, her pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Viewing will be held Friday from 10:30-11:30 AM at the funeral home.
