Lynn M. Tuzzio-Guiles, 62, passed away Friday evening, June 13, 2025, in her Shillington home with her loving husband, Don and her sister Lori by her side.  Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Anthony J. and Marie A. (Serafina) Tuzzio, West Reading.  She and Don truly enjoyed 34 years of marriage.

         A 1981 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, Lynn was an incredibly intelligent person, earning a Master’s Degree and working toward her Doctorate.  She was a highly respected Administrator in the Reading School District, and also worked with at-risk teens in the Philadelphia School District, a position she was extremely proud of, before retiring from education. 

        Family always came first to Lynn, and she particularly cherished time with her mom and dad, summers on the beach in Wildwood, country line dancing and 80s music.

        In addition to her parents and husband Don, Lynn is survived by daughter Alexa Farley, wife of Gary, Royersford, and son Randy Shirk, husband of Courtney, Wernersville, as well as her sister Lori Bizzaro, wife of Ralph, Reading. 

       But the true lights of Lynn’s life were her three grandchildren: Anthony Joseph Mazza, Gary Paul Farley and Jace Anthony Shirk, who will greatly miss their wonderful Mimi.  She also adored precious time with her loving nephews Ryan and Anthony Bizzaro, and niece Taylor Bashore, wife of Jordan, along with her beloved fur-buddy Elvis, who was always by her side.

       A Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Alban’s Drive, Whitfield, with a viewing in the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reading.
