M. Bernice McAuley

M. Bernice McAuley, 87, of Exeter Township, passed away November 6, 2017 at Exeter Greens, where she was guest since January 22, 2016. Bernie was the wife of the late Ronald Joseph McAuley who passed away June 14, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late John Joseph and Mildred (Barnes) Johnson. Bernie works as a copywriter in the advertising industry. She was a longtime parishioner, parish secretary and elementary school librarian at Incarnation of Our Lord R. C. Church. Bernie is survived by her children - Joseph R. McAuley, Mt. Penn, Marie McAuley, Hamburg, her grandchildren - Tommy, Alex, Rachel, Jonathan, Evan & Bobby, her great-granddaughter - Amelia, her niece - Karen and husband David, her nephews - Bob & Jim and wife Sandy, her brother-in-law - Ed and sisters-in-law - Carmella and Marie. She was predeceased by her younger sister Helen. Viewing will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 12:30-1:30 PM followed by a Prayer service at 1:30 PM in Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington.
