Margaret Ann Baroski, 71, formerly of Glenside and Freeland, PA, passed away February 17, 2018 at 7:05 AM in Manor Care Health Services, West Reading, where she was a guest since September 15, 2015. Born January 3, 1947 in Freeland, Luzerne County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Julius Joseph \"Lyle\" and Margaret Jane (Broskoskie) Baroski of Freeland. She was the Valedictorian of her 1964 Foster Twp. High School class, Freeland, PA; and graduated Valedictorian in the School of Music at West Chester University and with a master's in library science at Villanova University. She had been a member of St. Ann's Church, Freeland. Prior to retiring in 2005 due to dementia, she resided in Glenside, Montgomery County and was Director / Chief Librarian for more than 30 years for the Free Library of Springfield Twp., Wyndmoor, PA. Margaret Ann was a talented pianist and photographer, possessed a photographic memory and extensive knowledge of Dr Who and sci-fi genre (authored articles and books), loved books and the arts and was devoted to family. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Joseph (died 1954 at age 5 as a result of being hit by a car at Hickory Run State Park) and John D. (1955-2014) who owned Baroski & Associates, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is survived by one brother, Lyle Thomas, Leland, NC and many other family. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Parish Cemetery, Hazle Twp. Rev. Michael Kloton will officiate.
