Mary I. Assetto

Mary I. Assetto, 84, of Kenhorst, died February 25, 2018 at 1:17 PM in her residence. She was the loving wife of Jack M. Assetto with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Born in West Reading, she was daughter of late Rocco & Egidia (Emmi) Chirieleison. She was a faithful member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church. She recited the rosary and prayed for everyone in need daily. Mary was very social with a great sense of humor and enjoyed her many friendships. She enjoyed bingo and playing the lottery. Mary was a good wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and foster mom. She loved children and would watch everyone's kids. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children - Gina M. Hammer, Kenhorst, Joseph J. husband of Susan Assetto, West Lawn, her brothers - Richard Chirieleison, Reading, Phillip Chirieleison, FL, her grandchildren - James Hammer, III, Allentown, Taylor Assetto, West Lawn, Ashley wife of Nick Seifrit, West Lawn, her great granddaughters - Lily & Holly Seifrit. She was predeceased by her siblings - Josephine, Erma, Rose, Louise, Samuel, Tomys and Frank. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 2, 2018 in Holy Rosary R.C.
