Michael "Mickey" Flynn

        Michael “Mickey” Flynn, 70, of Reading, formerly of Groveville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Complete Care of Exeter, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Trenton, NJ on New Year's Day, 1956, he was a son of the late Joseph Flynn, Sr., and Mary (Sullivan) Flynn. 

         Michael was an extremely hard worker throughout his life.  He was employed for many years as a carpenter and maintenance technician at the Mill Run Nursing Home, Bristol, PA, and later worked as a factory employee for Harley-Davidson in York, PA.  In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, especially enjoying the tranquility of fishing with a Budweiser in his hand.  Above all, he cherished time spent with his daughters and grandchildren.

        Michael is survived by two loving daughters, Francine A. Flynn, Reading, and Melanie S. Magill, East Greenville, PA, a beloved brother, Timothy Flynn, husband of Jeanine Flynn, Groveville, NJ, and his dear grandchildren, Mary Moody, Jered Gatone and Gavin Gatone.  Also left to cherish his memory are his niece Colleen Flynn Crutchfield, his nephews Joseph Flynn and Matthew Flynn, and several great-nephews.

        He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Flynn, Jr., who is survived by his wife, Margaret “Hubby” Flynn, Flinton, PA. 

        A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held by his family later this year.
