Michael (Mike) A. Stackhouse, 56, of Mohnton, passed away unexpectedly after being stricken while at work on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born in Reading, he was the son of Joanne (Bare) Pinti and the late Ronald A. Stackhouse. His love had no boarders and in 1991 after being reactivated for Desert Storm, he married in Missouri his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Julie A. (Jines) Stackhouse, of Mohnton.
Mike was a 1987 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. He then proudly served in the United States Army. Afterwards, he dedicated 35 years of faithful employment as an assembler with Yuasa Battery, Inc., in Laureldale, where he was known for his strong work ethic, consistency, and dedication.
Outside of work, Mike enjoyed bowling with his faithful teammates of many years for Thursday night Men’s League at Berks Lanes. Over the years, he enjoyed crafting beautifully detailed walking sticks, collecting antiques, watching wrestling, going golfing, and tinkering with his cars. He appreciated the simple things in life and was content at home living a mellow life.
Most of all, Mike cherished all of the moments spent with his wife and son. He left them and his closest friends knowing that his love and loyalty will always be felt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie, and their son, Zachery L. Stackhouse, of Mohnton.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Klee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., with Army Military Honors at 8:00 P.M.
