Nancy E. (Geist) Carroll

        Nancy E. (Geist) Carroll, 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, in Reading Hospital where she was a patient.

        Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Bowsard) Geist, and the wife of the late Bernard J. Carroll, Jr., who passed in 2016, after 51 years of marriage. 

       Nancy was a loving homemaker who was a spectacular cook and gardener.  Nothing brought her greater joy than feeding her family and planting beautiful flowers around her home. She also cherished her two Yorkies, Mitsy and Maggie, along with the wonderful get-togethers with her family on Sunday afternoons rooting for “her” Eagles and Phillies.

        Nancy is survived by her three sons: Michael T., husband of Cathleen Carroll, Blandon; Steven B. Carroll, Sinking Spring; Christopher L., husband of Bridget A. Carroll, Shillington; her grandchildren Shannon, husband of Ryan Raudenbush, and Devon and Kendall Carroll, a great grandson Sean, and her brother, Daniel Geist, Leesport.

        In addition to her husband, Nancy was predeceased by her sister, Linda Nigrelli.
