Patricia Ann Lease

Patricia A. Lease, 76, of East Cocalico Twp., passed away July 4, 2017 at 2:10 PM in the Reading Hospital where she had been a patient since June 29, 2017. She was the wife of Stuart R. Lease with who she shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harold H. Emma S. (Eichner) Keffer. She worked as a food server at McDonald's, Sinking Spring for 10 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Mohns Hill Memorial E.C. Church and was active in their Sr. citizen's group and their Pilar group. She was a member of the Vinemont Fire Company where she, along with Joyce Lorah, were the first female drivers in Berks County. She was very involved with their Easter candy making, using her grandmother's recipe. Patsy played in an accordion band at local fairs and carnivals. She was a 1959 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, their 2nd graduating class and loved fishing clamming in Delaware. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children - Ann M. Lease companion of Sean P. Murphy, Shoemakersville, Shawn M. husband of Becky Lease, Shillington, Brian A. Lease, Denver, her brother - Dennis H. husband of Joyce Keffer, Pennwyn and 3 grandchildren - Nathan, Morgan Alex. He was predeceased by her son - Nathan in 1980. Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Pastor Kenneth B. Ogden will officiate. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Viewing Friday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 at the funeral home. Patsy had an extreme dislike for lilies and it's requested that none be sent.
