Patsy A. Pierce, 80, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away April 27, 2024 at Rosewood Rehabilitation Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven with her family by her side.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harold A. and Mary R. (Weyandt) Leinbach.
Patsy worked in human resources for the former Meridian Bank for 37 years, retiring June 30, 1998. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Glenside. Patsy worked part-time after retirement at World Gym, Ice-Cream Hut in Maine, Sun Valley Campground, and Lake in Wood Camping Resort. She volunteered with the American Cancer Society for many years, was involved in their Relay for Life and Reach to Recovery program and Human Relation Green Circe Program, enjoyed camping, spending her winters in Fort Pierce, FL, crafts, singing in the choir in Florida and especially enjoyed spending time with her family who she loved very much.
She is survived by her loving daughters – Michele L. wife of Ronald Scott Grumbling, Bern Twp., Lisa A. Lutz companion of Rod Ross, Clarksville, VA, her grandchildren – Katelyn wife of Michael Miller, Charles Lutz, Ethan Lutz, Matthew Grumbling, and her great granddaughters – Macie and Maeve Miller. She was predeceased by her sisters – Shirley E. Fritz and Nancy L. Yerger and her former husbands – Clyde J. Wagner (2012) and Clayton Ray Pierce (2020).
Celebration of Life service from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Bruce G. Osterhout will officiate. Visitation on Thursday from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
