Ramona D. Arias-Ramirez

Ramona D. Arias-Ramirez, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, in her Reading home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in the Dominican Republic, the daughter of the late Priscilla Arias.  Her husband, Jaime T. Ramirez passed away April 30, 2001.

Ramona was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family most of all.  An extremely kind person, she was sweet and laughable, and especially enjoyed watching TV and movies.  She was also a very hard worker who always kept her home immaculate.

Ramona is survived by her nine children:  daughters Mildred Ramirez, with whom she resided, Anna Ramirez, Reading, Miriam Ramirez, Massachusetts, Rosemary Urena, Queens, NY, and Yadira Ramirez, Dominican Republic, and sons Dionicio Ramirez, Bronx, NY, Felix Ramirez, Bronx, NY, Pablo Ramirez, Reading, and Richard Ramirez, Queens, NY.  Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, who cherished their precious “Mama” whenever they could be with her.

A public viewing for friends and family will be held at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 10am-12pm.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kleefuneralhome.com
