Richard "Rick" Logan

Richard “Rick” Logan, 58, of Cumru Township, passed away unexpectedly October 8, 2023 at 12:07 PM in the emergency room at Reading Hospital.

        Born in Norfolk, VA, he was a son of the late Haywood and Beatrice (Adams) Logan. He was the loving husband of Carmen L. (Rivera) Logan. They were together 35 years and celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary.

        Rick worked as a supervisor at Materion, formerly Brush-Wellman, Ontelaunee Township, last working Saturday October 7th. A 1983 graduate of Reading High School, Rick enjoyed basketball, working out, singing, dancing, and his kids. He was a jokester who made friends with whoever he met; lighting up everyone’s day.

        In addition to his wife Carmen, he is survived by his children – Richard “P-Nut” Logan, Jr, Sinking Spring, Candace “Candy Rain” Simmons, Phila, Tridarious “Manny-O” Simmons, Reading, Twins Rickiesha Muldrow, West Lawn and Rickeya Jones, NC, Logan “Logster” Smith, III, Muhlenberg Twp., Chaz “Baby Boy” Logan, West Lawn, Raven “Baby Girl” Logan-Miller, Flying Hills, 11 grandchildren and his sister – Sharnita Logan, SC.

        Viewing on Friday, October, 13, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington.
