Selon H. Snyder, 94, formerly of Whitfield, passed away July 8th at 6:35 PM at Wyomissing Health Rehabilitation Center. Born in Leck Hill, Northumberland County, he was a son of the late Harvey Rosie (Mattern) Snyder. He was predeceased by his first wife Hazel (Dreibelbis) Snyder and was the husband of Anna K. (Klinger) Snyder with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. He was employed at Dana Corp. for 36 years, retiring in 1985. Selon served faithfully in the US Navy in both WW II and the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by his Son - Terry V. Snyder, Murrells Inlet, SC, his Daughter - Dr. Patricia A. Snyder and partner Kathleen Ozment, Reading, his Granddaughter - Amy L. wife of Ken Lott, III, Goose Creek, SC, his Great Grandsons - Travis, Nicholas and Caleb Lott and his Siblings - Darwin Snyder, Dornsife, PA, Goldie Smeltz, Millersburg and Faye Witmer, Hershey. There are also 7 nieces and 7 nephews. In addition to his first wife, he is predeceased by siblings - Lester, Clyde, Henry, Violet, Nevin, and Dorothy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Pastor Rich Moore will officiate. Private interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
