Stephen H. Paris, 79, of Cumru Township, passed away May 8, 2025, in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harold & Florence (Bush) Paris. He was the husband of the late Mary Susan “Susie” (Thompson) Paris who passed away January 27, 2006.
Stephen was a computer programmer starting at Bell Labs, AT&T, Lucent and retiring from Agere in 2005 after more than 35 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and a 1968 graduate of Albright College. Stephen served in the Air National Guard and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington. He enjoyed skiing, sailing, fishing and cycling.
He is survived by his son – Bradley S. Paris husband of Janie Cloin, Kerhonkson, NY, his brother – Jack Paris husband of Jackie Hartz, Mt. Penn and a love of his life – Kandi Czajkowski, Wernersville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Rev. Megan Huesgen will officiate. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington, will be private. www.kleefuneralhome.com
