Suzanne Mast Bilger

Suzanne (Mast) Bilger, 81, was called home on Tuesday May 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. Suzie suffered from a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Suzie was the wife of the late Leonard E. Bilger and daughter of the late J. Carroll & Mary (Williams) Mast. She was a 1954 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a graduate of Marjorie Webster College, Washington, DC, with a teaching degree. Suzie loved volunteering and enjoyed playing golf, tennis, bridge and of course the many hours she spent on the beach and tending to her garden. She was a long-standing member of the Junior League of Reading. She is survived by her family - Son Leonard (Chip) E, II, his wife Marcie, Son Jeffrey M., his wife Linda, Daughter Cora L. Bilger, Daughter Barbara (Bilger), her husband Layton Barnard, Grandchildren - Lenny, Laura, Lizabeth, Kristen, Brittany, Ryan, Jake, Juliana, Madeline, Claudia & Hunter, Sister Betsy Ray and her great grandchildren - Lilly, Ella & Connor. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Harrison. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing followed by a Celebration of Suzie's Life beginning at 3:00 PM. Pastor Ryan Hersch will officiate.
