Thomas J. Danak, 64, of Lincoln Park, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 21, 2024 in Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Helen R. (Mieszkowski) and John T. Danak, Sr., and the loving wife of Alice (Levy) Danak, who remembers him as the sweetest person she ever met.
Tom was a Senior Tax Analyst for Penske Truck Leasing for nearly 30 years, last working in 2023. He loved his cats and dog Bailey, long walks through his neighborhood, in the woods and along the beach in Ocean City, MD. A huge fan of the Reading Phillies and all Philadelphia sports teams, he also enjoyed riding horses, swimming in the backyard pool, keeping up with stocks and finances, and attending car shows, including showing off his own cars. He had an incredible sense of humor, made many friends, and would simply give anyone in need the shirt off his back.
In addition to Alice, he is survived by her parents, John and Pat Levy of Shillington, and his brother John T. Danak, Jr., Philadelphia.
Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, is assisting Tom’s family with services, which will be private. www.kleefuneralhome.com
